The Laurel Highlands Council hosts a variety of Special Events throughout the year to raise funds and awareness of Scouting in Western Pennsylvania, western Maryland, and portions of West Virginia. From Golf Outings to our annual Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner, these events provide an excellent opportunity for individuals and corporations to show their support of Scouting while enjoying high-end events and second to none networking opportunities.

Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Awards Dinner

The Whitney M. Young Jr. Service award dinner raises needed funds to support the Council's Scoutreach initiatives which serve our community's most at-risk youth.

Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner

Scouting's flagship event that recognizes the 400 youth who have earned Scouting's highest recognition. Proceeds of the event benefited the many youth development programs of the Laurel Highlands Council.

Sporting Clays Classic

The Sporting Clays Classic is held annually at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. The event featured an entire day of field sports fun in addition to a 100-round sporting clays tournament.
